Last may, A2Z Adventures donated 160€ to CERAS (Centro de Estudos e Recuperação de Animais Selvagens de Castelo Branco). CERAS - a branch of the Portuguese NGO Quercus - takes cares of endangered birds, in the Castelo Branco area.

This amount represents 1% of the money payed by a group of 12 hikers from California that joined us for our Tejo & Historical Villages of Portugal walking tour. We would like to thank them for helping CERAS.

We had a great time mountain biking in Patagonia last March. The A2Z Adventures group had 8 people and we enjoyed nice weather and the famous austral winds… helping us! Check some highlights of the trip in this movie clip… and join us in December 2008.

Here is the video of our reconnaissance trip in the Himalayas, back in 2003. Now this amazing trip is part of A2Z Adventures catalog. You can do this trip in August, self guided, but supported by Raju, our tireless local guide!

We are working on our 2009 Calendar for both Tours and Expeditions. Should be finalized in a week or so.

We will offer more tours and the good news is that some of the prices will go down!

Less than two months to go and the last details are being arranged for the Himalayas Hiking Expedition 2008.

There are few places left for this great adventure in the Indian highlands.

All participants are training hard to get to the expedition in top shape and overcome the 5100 meters pass!
